RRP recordkeeping apps compared: free and paid options

Several apps now help firms keep RRP job records. They differ most on price, free limits, whether records live only on one phone, and whether a team can share them. This page compares what each vendor lists publicly. We publish RRP Central, so read our entry with that in mind and check each vendor's page yourself.

How we checked

We read each vendor's official app listing or website on November 2, 2026, and checked the prices again on November 3, 2026. We did not install the other apps, buy a plan, or export a sample PDF. "Listed" below means the vendor says it. If a feature is not listed, it may still exist. Prices and limits change, so check before you choose. Product names belong to their owners. RRP Central is not affiliated with any of them.

Lead Masters

An iPhone app. The App Store lists it as free, and we saw no in-app purchases listed. The listing describes on-site RRP forms, completeness checks, signatures, photos, certificate storage, and PDF creation and sharing. It does not describe team access, offline use, or expiry reminders.

LeadSafe Job Binder

An iPhone app. Two job binders are free. Pro costs $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. The listing covers notices, pamphlet delivery, containment and cleaning records, photos, signatures, a job timeline, and a complete PDF. Records stay on the device, and the vendor says there is no cloud sync. It also says the app does not decide EPA or state compliance.

LeadSafeLog

An Android app. Two completed jobs are free, with ads. The PDF export is a paid unlock: $4.99 a month, $19.99 a year, or $29.99 once. It lists applicability questions, pamphlet records, signatures, work practices, detailed cleaning verification, retention dates, and a backup. There is no account or cloud. It follows the federal rule and warns that other programs can differ.

RRP Vault

A web service at $49 a month with a 14-day trial. It lists unlimited jobs, site photos, cloud records, PDF audit packets, certificate expiry reminders, and three-year storage. Firms with several renovators are pointed to a custom plan.

RRP Central (our product)

A web app that works on phones and computers. It is free during the beta, and the Unlimited plan is $49 a month after. It keeps job forms, customer acknowledgments, crew certificates, and evidence in a shared workspace with roles. Customers can sign the pamphlet receipt from a link. Records made offline sync later. Each job exports as a PDF or a ZIP with the original files. The pricing page has current details.

Like the others, it does not make a job compliant. Your firm is still responsible for the work and the records.

How to choose

Start with who needs the records. If one person does the work and keeps the file, an app on that phone can be enough. Back it up, because a lost phone is a lost record. If an office manager, several crews, or a customer far away need the same file, choose shared cloud records.

Then run one real job through your top two choices. Use a pre-1978 rental with an owner and a tenant, a pamphlet receipt, a certified renovator, a trained worker, cleaning verification, and a final handoff. Export the PDF and check that every fact and attachment is there. Our software buying guide lists more questions to ask, and our options comparison covers paper and EPA's free forms.

  • Who needs to see the records: one person, an office, or customers?
  • Does it work with no signal?
  • Where are records stored, and for how long?
  • Can you export every record and file if you leave?
  • What does it cost after the free limit, per year?

These guides focus on the federal RRP baseline and practical record organization. State, Tribal, local, HUD, or other applicable requirements may add or change steps. Check the program administering your work. This is general information, not legal advice or a substitute for accredited training.
